I offer a free 60-minute coaching call for business owners who are ready to make money without recreating the capitalist patterns they’re trying to escape.
I’m now fully booked for May, but I have limited capacity for June and July.
If you’d like to work with me before the summer, book your session now to claim your spot.

Let’s build something spacious, strategic, and rooted in liberation — together.
So many solopreneurs gaslight themselves into believing they should be able to do everything on their own.
That if they were just more disciplined, more organised, more strategic, they'd be able to carry the whole thing themselves.
That guilt, shame, and over-responsibility will somehow get them across the finish line.
It won't.
Isolation isn't a virtue.
It’s a byproduct of capitalism. A system that wants us exhausted, overwhelmed, and convinced that struggling alone is a badge of honour.
When I first started building my platform on Substack, I knew no one here.
I didn’t have a community at all, and to begin with I felt pretty lonely.
But over time, through reaching out, connecting, collaborating, and championing others — that changed.
Today, I have real allies.
People like Dre Beltrami, Elisabeth Worth, Marcy Farrey, Rebecca Van Damm, Chloe Edwards, Lucy Werner, Bronwen Keyes-Bevan and Anna Rose.
People who inspire me, lift me up, and encourage me to keep going when the noise gets loud (which it frequently does).
Being in connection with them has given me confidence. [Special shout out to Dre Beltrami without whom I would never have had the courage to get behind the name The Reluctant Capitalist!]
It’s helped me grow, in ways that have nothing to do with follower counts and everything to do with feeling rooted, seen, and supported.
Because as my formidable coach Kelly Diels says:
“We are in a game that we didn't invent, playing by rules that are not meant for us to win.
And we actually have to survive and thrive in that game unless we decide to just extract ourselves from the game and go live in a yurt.
And like, that's a valid choice. It's just not my personal choice.
So in the game that we're in, we have to learn how to survive and thrive, right?
And we need to know how to subvert it.”
One of the many ways we subvert the system is by refusing isolation.
We subvert it by gathering — by building ecosystems of care, creativity, and mutual support.
I am in a huge growth phase in my business and it’s a white knuckle ride! But I could not do this without my allies. My people.
You don’t have to do it alone either.
You were never meant to.
I’d love to hear from you — who are your allies right now?
Who lifts you up, inspires you, or reminds you that you’re not doing this alone?
